We will also add it to our database of Café Metro customers. Registration and Logging In We do not require you to enter any personal information in order to view our menus or browse our website. Registration is necessary only if you place an order with us. When you register, your delivery and contact information is stored in a protected database on our server that is not accessable from the web, so that you don't have to re-enter it each time you place an order. You can log in manually by entering your user name and password. You are not required to log in until you place an order, but if you log in when you enter the website, we'll remember your profile information and delivery address. You'll be able to change any of your Account Information by loging in and clicking on the Your Account link at the top right of any page. Receiving e-mails We don't want to send you any e-mail that you don't want to receive. If you check the appropriate boxes when you register, we will send you daily specials e-mails, or add you to our e-mail list to receive information about special offers, new store openings, etc. You can change your e-mail preferences whenever you want clicking on the Mailing List link at the top or every page and "opt out" or "opt in" to any of our email communications. We will never send you any e-mails beyond your user preferences, unless it is in response to a communication from you or as part of the ordering process. Credit Cards If you choose to pay by credit card, we will require the credit card information necessary to process your payment. Credit card information is collected by this website only through Secure Socket Layers (SSL), to allow for private and secure transmission. After it is received, your credit card information will be encrypted before being sent to our office. When you register or edit your acount information you have the option of entering your credit card for use when you order. All credit card numbers are stored on our secure server and encripted for your protection. Cookies Cookies are small files or data strings stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies let our website recognize you, so that it can remember your preferences and save you the trouble of re-entering information each time you visit. Our cookies cannot and do not retrieve any other data from your hard drive or carry computer viruses. They cannot be used by us to track your movements outside of our website, nor can they be used by other companies to access any information you provide while on our site.
